The accompanying article, “The Power of Choice,” by Betsy Greer, speaks of crafting for charity. Among the organizations and websites she lists is &lt;a href=&quot;http://www.pinkslipperproject.org/&quot;&gt;The Pink Slipper Project&lt;/a&gt;, which collects slippers like the ones above and donates them to women and children in domestic violence shelters. &lt;br/&gt;</description>
